To launch Aveda’s new  Miraculous Oil, we created an interactive experience at our Sanya Haitang Bay store. Using the concept of “luck” to highlight the product’s shine and smoothness benefits, we designed a scratch card activity that quickly built buzz around the new launch. Tiered gift-with-purchase offers and check-in rewards helped drive foot traffic.

CHECK-IN CART ACTIVATION
A cart at the store entrance featured product samples and a simple offer: post a check-in to receive a free scalp analysis—an easy way to introduce customers to the product.

SCRATCH FOR LUCK, DRIVE PURCHASE
Customers who spent a certain amount received a scratch card with a prize tier. This luck-based, blind-box-style interaction added surprise, encouraged purchases, and boosted average transaction value.
